APEX9+ Students working as Faculty Assistants

Students in Year 9 are currently completing their APEX9+ Subject Assistant programme.  APEX9+ Subject Assistant is a unique initiative whereby all pupils in Year 9 will get to spend a day assisting one of their teachers with their day-to-day work at school. 

Pupils flourish with the responsibility given to them by their teacher.  This is also an important step in enhancing their employability skills such as ‘developing communication with adults’.

Our APEX9 Subject Assistant programme is an important step in our students building their confidence as preparation for their year 10 work experience placement.
