KS3 Assessment

Students are assessed for their practical ability in each sport against Year group related expectations. They are also assessed on their ability to analyse their own and others’ performance suggesting improvements. They have the opportunity to lead warm ups, officiate in games, lead skill drills, organise teams in which they will also be assessed.

KS4

Btec Tech Sport Activity and Fitness

Btec Technical award in sport consists of 3 components. One component in year 11 is an externally assessed exam which is worth 40% of the overall grade and the other 2 components are controlled assessments weighted at 30% each.

Btec Tech Health and Social Care

Btec Technical award in Health and Social Care consists of 3 components. One component in year 11 is an externally assessed exam which is worth 40% of the overall grade and the other 2 components are controlled assessments weighted at 30% each.
