National Careers Week 2021 - Year 9 University Virtual Tour

On Monday afternoon three members of the Pathways team worked with our students to deliver a virtual tour of a local universities and to talk to our students about higher education.  Pathways is a partnership of higher education providers across Leicester/shire and Rutland who work with schools to engage with students who are underrepresented in the HE student population.

Students enjoyed being able to explore (virtually) what a contemporary university campus is like, as well as to find out more about higher education in general. They also got to take home a VR “headset” so that they could continue their exploration using their smart phones at home.  A big thanks to the Pathways team for running this event.
