Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

Beaumont Leys is an Inclusive School. A number of students will have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). As a school we are mindful of and comply with the Local Authority’s expectations which describes the ways that schools should support students in class, along with the expected duties shown in the school –

We use a range of support strategies and interventions in place to address the specific special or additional needs of individual or groups of students. Careful consideration is given to identifying needs and the subsequent support that is implemented.
